-I still don't completely
understand
Hebrews
9:15 and Hebrews 8:6 about the
mediator.
It means He is now here to
save us. He came once to save mankind from sin. Now He is here to save
us from the sins we may think we still are under, that may be allowing
our conscience to be defiled (Hebrews 9:9)
and our
hearts to feel guilty:.1John
3:20,21. That is why quiet time
alone with God is so important. It is then that specific things just
for you well up in your mind. This is the Infinite One improving us:.Ephesians
2:10.
We have been redeemed (Hebrews
9:12), but some were into dead works:.Hebrews
9:14. Dead works are works that are now defunct,
like today keeping the Mosaic Law when it is no longer a part of God's
plan.
Christ is doing things with
those of belief in the new covenant (Hebrews
9:15), so we can receive an eternal inheritance.

3:6 seems to be telling us that if we are Christians, born
again of God, that we don't sin. I know that's not true, as I love
God but still do sin. And verse 9 there
scares me.
It is talking about how God
looks at you now that you believe in Jesus Christ, making you born of God:.1John
5:1.
If you are born of God, you
cannot commit sin by thoughts and actions. Because now you cannot do anything
by God's standard that He would call sin against you. Your reward in salvation
or in the kingdom, involves performance based on works of love and not
performance based on fear of retribution.(Romans
8:15) or works of your own choosing (see the question directly above
on Hebrews 9:15) to be pleasing to God.
The standard for fearful
retribution has been replaced by oneness with Christ. In other words; your
works of love from the heart gain you something and your lack of these
works do not qualify you for any kind of punishment, but may get you a
lesser reward in salvation (the Kingdom).
The power of the loving nature
of the Great Infinite One, called the Holy Spirit
in the Bible, will now flow through you, as you now decide to keep in touch
with Christ's loving nature
in you and be loving in all your actions:.1John
4:7.
No murderer (hate is equal
to murder) has eternal life because, if Christ is in you, you are loving
toward others and would never hurt others in any way:.1John
3:15.
1John
3:10,11 says that this is the difference between the children
of the Infinite One and the
children of the devil.
The children of the devil
(called 'children of disobedience' and meaning children of unbelief in
Ephesians
2:2; 5:6; Colossians
3:6) live on the dark side,
a side that is above all else, incredibly selfish and consequently negative,
always exhibiting, 'me best, screw you and all the rest', arrogantly carrying
around the selfish way that always
leads to destruction and to
loss, living with thoughts of the past that continue to generate negativity
for the one who refuses to
live in the present, preferring instead to mull
over his or her negative past, and/or continue on with negative ways, being
dishonest with himself, and treating others unlike love, missing this
life lesson.
This overall negative way
always leads to increased negativity, and destruction of things, destruction
of things hoped for and destruction of dreams held, thus destroying hope.
It is the opposite of what is called faith:.Hebrews
11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This destructive approach
to life affects others and the one being selfish. Results of bad actions
can be seen; so we can learn. Thought always precedes
action; so we don't make the same mistakes again.
Those pumped by the dark
side seem oblivious to what they are like. It's all so 'normal', for
them. They are convinced (deluded)
they are correct in what they are engaged in. They know not the way of
love that has positive benefits for all:.Revelation
12:9.
People of the world, the
natural way of life they have known and grown up with, are often engaged
in some enterprising endeavour to bring 'new light', new hope to the world,
as they, of course, feel it should be for others, and mostly without first
consulting
those later to be affected.-.arrogance.
Such is the way of totalitarian
thinking. Such are they who are consumed with walking in the vanity
of their minds - self-styled elitists.imposing
selfish demonically inspired standards upon those they deem
too far removed from them to notice, and of course, believing themselves
that their way is the only right way for all:.Ephesians
4:17-19. One example 1).
Such 'new light' often sows
the wind. It was the same since the
beginning of man on earth. Unfortunately children today grow up much
the same, where disobedience is their mother and the devil and his crew
influencing
their minds, their father:.John
8:44; Acts 26:18. And such are
those who unknowingly are playing perfectly into the hands of the dark
side:.Revelation
12:9.
The dark side's influence
has one purpose; to destroy mankind. Why? Because mankind is destined to
rule over all angels (1Corinthians
6:3; Jude 1:6), even the angels of
the dark side, called demons.
Ephesians
2:2 talks of this spirit of deceit.
All negative attitudes are definitive
influence by the dark side, acting in accordance with what doors an individual
opens in his mind, whether they be the way of love
or the way of evil.
The way of evil means that
in some way, a person has an attitude of hurting another, and this is always
based on selfishness. These evil attitudes work within those who do not
believe a supreme extremely intelligent infinite personality is responsible
for all good. And they don't believe this for one reason or the other.
Mostly they are non-thinkers, and have simply taken the way that would
provide them as much time as possible to indulge
the concerns of self.
These are the ones who have
an opinion that they have not formed, but rather have just accepted as
true what comes from others, allowing themselves, and mostly unknowingly,
to be alienated from
the real and free life the Great Infinite One made possible for them
to have. You know the old advertising ways. Tell it often enough, and especially
with some authority, and people will swallow it eventually. Such is how
the unintelligent form their beliefs.
A
good example of those refusing to be bamboozled.
The children
of the devil either feel they are in sin (legalistic religion, usually
devoid of any intuition regarding the spirit of the matter, being legally
correct, but circumventing
spiritual
principles), or are
primarily
self concerned, and are uncaring regarding spiritual concerns, just
not interested in moving
from the darker side of their natures:.John
3:19,20.
And where can one ever really
place his darker side where it will not be discovered?.Job
34:22;
1Corinthians
4:5; Hebrews 4:13;.Luke
12:2,3 "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither
hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever you have spoken in darkness
shall be heard in the light; and that which you have spoken in the ear
in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.".These
people will be judged according to their works:.2Corinthians
11:15. How much better to be a person of spirituality who acts out
of the love in his or her heart, whose end
is according to His already finished works.
The children of the devil
are often deceived into bringing what
at first appears as new light, new hope. The children of the devil
are desirous of gain for strictly selfish
reasons. They lack depth of caring about others, being instead single-mindedly
selfish.
This is the course, or the
way the world is:.Ephesians
2:2,3; 1John 5:19; John
8:44; 2Corinthians 4:4;
Galatians
4:8. This is why so many people just are the way
they are. The children of God are desirous of others to have the advantage:.Philippians
2:3. So different from the course of the world today, especially
evident in business. And what was your attitude when they read the
will?
The children of God know
their true identity – being in Christ and thereby acceptable to the Father:.Ephesians
1:6 "To the praise.of
the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.(accepted
into God's love {1John 4:8,16}, God's
plan, God's family)."
The main difference between
the children of God and the rest of humanity, is that the devil cannot
come and go in the children of God. You are left just as you are with
your real self – and that ain't so great either eh? Ha ha!....Questions
