-Is circumcision necessary for those in the God family today?

Paul warned Christians about those who tried to get them back under the old covenant by claiming that certain things were necessary to do to keep in a right stead with God:.Philippians 3:2; Titus 1:10; Galatians 2:12; Acts 11:2.

Circumcision referred to the Jews back then who circumcised according the the instruction of the old covenant. Circumcision became a synonym for Israel, so that they could be spoken of as 'the circumcised,' and the heathen as 'the uncircumcised':.Acts 11:3

Paul talked a lot about this subject:.Colossians 2:11; 3:11; Philippians 3:3; Galatians 5:6

In Galatians 6:15 Paul says that what is really important is that you become a new creature in Christ. Paul says the uncircumcised are justified by faith (by their belief in Christ):.Romans 3:30; 2:26. Uncircumcision is natural:.Romans 2:27

As a rite of the church, circumcision ceased when New Testament times began:.Acts 21:21; Galatians 6:15; Colossians 3:11.

Some Jewish Christians sought to impose it however on the Gentile converts (Acts 15:1), but this the apostles resolutely resisted:.Galatians 6:12.

Paul says that once you are a believer in Christ, there is no profit to you now, as a Christian and a son of God, in wanting to be circumcised to comply with Old Testament legal practices, because someone made you now think this is a requirement to be in the God family:.Galatians 5:2 "Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.".There is no profit from Christ for wanting to be now circumcised. It is part of getting back under the law Christ abolished

We now, through being Christ's workmanship, are coming into a full realization of just what the righteousness by faith means:.Galatians 5:5 "For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith."
And to finish it off:.1Corinthians 7:19; Romans 2:28,29
Circumcision came before, and later had to do with, the Old Testament Mosaic Law:.John 7:22,23; Acts 7:8.

Circumcision became a synonym for Israel, so that they could be spoken of as 'the circumcised,' and the heathen (the Gentiles) as 'the uncircumcised':.Judges 14:3; Ezekiel 31:18; Acts 11:3

-Does the Bible talk about going into a trance?
Yes. In Numbers 24:4. Also, the Apostle Peter saw a vision from God in a trance in Acts 10:10 and 11:15. In Acts 22:17 Paul too! It is not a thing where you are unaware of what and who you are. It is just a quiet meditative state where you listen to and talk to this Great Infinite Being, if you feel moved to do so, and see what He brings to your mind. Achieving a state of stillness of mental activity is requisite. Life is busy. The mind always has many things to flit about. Notice the flood of thoughts that often comes once you lay your head down for sleep.

By calming this mental activity, you take yourself into a realm beyond it, taking your mind into a position of inactivity. In these quiet times, there is much to be gained. My experience in this, although until writing this, I never thought of it as being 'in a trance'. Trancendental Meditation is a good way to just still the mind allowing you to be at one with the energy that is the universe, and from which all things in it come into the physical.

-How do we receive seed into the good ground as it says in Matthew 13:23?
If you are hot for the things of God like compassion and loving others, the seed is received into good ground. That is because if His nature of love and kindness is active in you, you have 'good ground' and that produces stability in life:.John 17:23,26; 2Corinthians 13:5; Revelation 3:16; Luke 8:15; Colossians 1:23; 1) 2) 3) 4).
-What does."conversion".mean?.Acts 15:3

It means to 'turn to'. To turn to what? And how? And how easy is it? And to turn from what?

Once converted, everything around you 'looks different'; that is, things that you saw as 'against you', making it difficult for you, are now for you; you no longer being under the influence of the dark side:.John 12:31.

The steady stream of trials, the fire continues, so that the old you is throughly consumed. And so the rest of your life here begins towards your reward.

-What is the difference, if any, between the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit?

-Is it true that what we wish for one person, affects all?

No. But yes! Yes, on an individual basis. That is, if you go about your daily life always showing love, with all that means, then all you meet are affected by your good heartedness. You may never see this affect them. It takes years.

But no on the 'cosmic' realm. That is, by a good hearted act toward a particular person, all mankind is not going to be immediately affected. There is a ripple effect though through this infinite psychic sea of which we, and all things are in. It make take decades, even longer, but kind acts have a positive effect on outcomes. This is because the mass mind influence has to be left behind, and it takes God working with a person to do this.

I know many eastern religions believe otherwise. I studied them during one 9 year period.

On one hand here Paul was fed up with the stubbornness of some, and saw fit to comment thusly:.2Timothy 4:14.

And on the other hand you can see by the wording of this scripture that the 'wish for one person, affect all' idea doesn't hold water:.2John 1:1.
