Testicles:.We
have yet to discover why an animal's testicles retract from the scrotum
to inside the abdomen after the breeding season is over. Considering evolution:
If the first set were bit off the first animal (and the animal would then
have been eaten), how was this communicated to the others to retract their
testicles? Or maybe it was that it made such a darn impression on the first
one that it was set in 'animal psyche' for the other animal's offspring?
But then, is there a law that says that if animal psyche is impressed by
hurt, then evolutionary process must adapt? If so, no evolutionist has
reported on it.
Octopus, Squid, Puffer
Fish and other sea creatures:.
Consider
the Octopus, Squid and the Puffer fish: All have the marvelous ability
to instantly, and I mean instantly, change their color to mimic
the background color they are nearest too, if they so choose. The Octopi
even can change their skin texture to mimic the surrounding area. Such
incredible design! Evolution would have them somehow recognize their background,
their enemies, etc., and would somehow 'magically' develop this ability.
Let's stop teaching fairy stories to our kids.
The octopus, squid, cuttlefish
and pearly nautilus are cephalopods (marine molluscs

snails, etc.] in U.S.A. and Canada} with well developed heads and eyes
and a ring of sucker bearing tentacles)..New

volume 405, page 1036, "mollusk have layers of tiny platelets composed
of the brittle mineral argonite arranged at right angles to each other
and held together by a protein 'glue'. The platelets dissipate stress into
numerous tiny cracks instead of one. This could be the inspiration for
new lightweight and tough ceramic composites", says Arthur Heier of Case
Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As the animal grows, so
does its shell, perfectly accomodating its growth in that each new circular
chamber is exactly 6.3% larger than the last. For a stunning sight of this
little creature, see the April, 2000 edition of.Focus
Magazine.
The nautilus
regulates its bouyancy by controlling
its inner gases. Wow! Such intelligence!
Mathematics is the language
of nature. Stephen Hawking said of the concept of God, that "he's the ultimate
mathematician".
The mathematics of God's
creation is evidenced also in cooling lava, honeycomb cells.(where
the
bee stores its honey), kitchen sink soap bubbles, the bones
of the human body, corn kernels,
flowers, black hole
formation, etc. And,
the cells in the root of a buttercup resemble the
wax chambers of an honeycomb.
"In all these situations,
the surfaces, cracks, or partitions meet in 3 way junctions of angles of
120º. To find out why 120º, make four dots on a piece of paper,
and try connetting them with non overlapping lines. The configuration where
the lines from the dots meet in 3 way junctions at 120 degree angles provides
the shortest path connecting the dots. In a honeycomb, each hexagonal shares
its walls with 6 other cells (made of beeswax) in a tightly packed array.
This arrangement creates a rigid structure of many small cells in which
to store honey, while using as little wax as possible. The same pattern
occurs also in the shell of a turtle." ...By

Patterns
in nature, be it rippling water, falling snow, spirals,
rosettes,
and fronds evidencing
fractals,
soap
bubbles, nano.structures,
sophisticated
mathematics, etc. provide the esthetics
we all need to experience as they contribute to stability of emotions.
Are you more relaxed amongst the trees and flowers beside a rippling creek
in a campsite amid the mountains?
Life would seem as scary
as an open backed staircase and without railings, if life lacked the so
many patterns we appreciate. We create additional stability for our lives
by our daily routines, and even from our leisure time as we lie in a park
observing clouds, making them special to us from patterns we can imagine.
We want assurance of stability. We need stability. In solving puzzles,
whether it be the pattern you especially discover in a cloud, or extracting
meaning from abstract art, and even crosswords, we find in the symmetry,
once its recognized, a reinforcement a life reflection, an assurance agin
of stability. Stability reinforces confidence. From stability we can proceed.
