-Do we more fully enter
the presence of God when we pray and study and meditate?.Jude
1:24
You do not enter it. You
are already in it if Christ
be in you. Acknowledge that to yourself.
You stir
up the gift of God (2Peter 1:13) by
focusing on that which is true, including what
is true about you. Once you believe the truth, you begin to experience
it, and this is life!
Part
of that focusing involves meditation.
As you meditate on a passage
of Scripture, try to keep in mind whatever points here are important to
you:
-a promise I can call my
own?
-something for me to learn,
to improve upon?
-a blessing I can enjoy?
-a failure from which I
can learn?
-a victory I need to win?
-a new thought about God,
the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Satan, man?
-a truth in this passage
that has greatly affected me?
-something to avoid?

-Regarding your statement
– "When God wants you, He knows how to get you. We don't "come to God",
He comes to us": How does all that square with James
4:8 where it talks about
us first drawing close to God,
then
He will draw close to us?
Drawing close to God occurs
after God has come to you and awakened your mind. This is made clearer
in this explanation. To
draw
close to God...
-Do we believe on Jesus
or the Father, or both?
Doesn't matter:.John
10:30; 12:44,45.
