Ephesians 3:1-3 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,...If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you ward...How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; as I wrote afore in few words,

Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit..(Isaiah 50:4)

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.

Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made.(word 'made' in original is 'became').a minister.(a minister is a servant:.Luke 22:26,27)., according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual.(word 'effectual' not in original).working of his power.

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;.(Eclectic Notes.adds: "...not merely a Messiah according to the promises made to the fathers, a Jewish Christ, but a Christ whose riches were unsearchable. No one could trace to the end, and in all its development in Him, the accomplishment of the counsels, and the revelation of the nature of God {John 1:18}. They are the incomprehensible riches of a Christ in whom God reveals Himself, and in whom all God's thoughts are accomplished and displayed. These purposes of God with regard to a Christ, the Head of His body the assembly, Head over all things {Ephesians 1:22,23; Colossians 2:10; Ephesians 3:9 {next verse below}; John 1:3,10} in heaven and earth, Christ, God manifest in the flesh, were now made known and being accomplished, so far as gathering the joint-heirs in one body {group of like minded individuals} went....")

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship (original also means 'partner in', to have a part in).of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God.(and there is a key to getting into this hidden area of spirituality), who created all things by Jesus Christ;.(before He became physical and one of humankind).
    .(better translated, paraphrased and explained:."And to make all men see that they are one with what was previously unknown to them, the relationship which was continuously throughout the ages hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.".-.and why? next verse)

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly.(both the higher and lower consciousness things are in this invisible realm:.Job 1:6-12).places.(the energy beings in the invisible world that have been there since the beginning, are learning from what is going on here on earth in us and with us).might be known by the church.(those willing to express the love of the Infinite One, living in a higher consciousness than the egos we all have developed).the manifold.(many and variegated and deep {as verse 18 below shows}).wisdom of God;.(1Peter 1:12 ".....which things the angels desire to look into.")

Ephesians 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him..(it's His faith that draws and keeps us in the deep spirituality of the Father, the Great Infinite Intelligence)

Ephesians 3:13 Wherefore I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.(what does 'glory' mean here?)..(Paul encourages them not to be sapped by any trials and tests he was going through in the form of persecutions)

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause.(what cause? Romans 8:18; 2Corinthians 1:6; 1Peter 1:11) I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,.(Paul was dedicated to what he believed to be his purpose)

Ephesians 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;.(the inner man is what you really are, it's your mind)

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.(it takes faith to believe); that you, being rooted and grounded in love;

Ephesians 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height;

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ.(how?), which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:20.(from the original)."And to be able.(we are able to use this power, once we understand how to access it).to have power through a state of mind toward favourable circumstances because of law.(universal laws).producing designated performance more than you now have, more than you ask or think according to the power operating in us."
    (and this is how the King James translators translated it)."Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

Ephesians 3:21 Unto.(word 'unto' not in original).him.(or, 'He is', or 'His').be.('be' not in original) glory (is – implied).in the church by.(or, 'through').Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen..(Ephesians 3:21 is from Isaiah 45:17)
   (Rotherham Translation has it:."Unto him be the glory, in the assembly, and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations of the age of ages. Amen."
    (the idea is, that through the endless succession of ages {from beginning and throughout all eternity}, or through all time, Christ is the glory over all principalities and powers – see verse 10. Also Romans 16:17)
